Encouragement from some great friends. I had some ideas and as a avid book reader I wanted to take the next step. However, never done it before is a little scary. Especially when my English and grammar have alot to be desired lol.
The one I am writing now. I have another I have been working on for a while but it is no where near complete and it is a little more personal.
It hasn't yet. But I know it will change as I develop as a writer
My topic is about tourettes and the trauma it can sometimes cause people. Especially when first diagnosed. As well as that it is about a young man also coming to terms with his sexuality and the path he wants to take in life.
The story is really personal to me and it is based on my son. Who is actually helping to write the story. The witty one liners are all him.
He has a long battle ahead in life. However, we as a family love him loads and our support will only see him grow.
To raise awareness of tourettes and that what the press/TV isn't always like that
To make people aware that men are not always the alpha males you read in books. The strong, broody type. Whilst I love reading these stories men have flaws too. They also deal with disabilities that happen in real life.
I would rather be at home learning how to hide my balls, not throwing them down an aisle.
Some of it yes. I have researched tourettes since my son was diagnosed over 5 years ago.
Deadlines. Without these it would take me forever, I am a last minute kind of girl.
That's such a hard question. I love many authors. I live the way they can take you to another place. However, if I really had to choose it would be KC Lynn, she is amazing. If you haven't read anything by her you really need too. Her stories captivate you.
There is, it is by KC Lynn. An Act of Confessions. Omg. I have never cried like that so hard in my life. The book broke me. It is a book I still cry at even just thinking about it. Yep the tears are flowing as I type this.
